Regional Managing Director

A strategist with a wealth of experience in media sales and development of new markets, Kenniess has made substantial contributions at all the organizations he served while helping clients get the most out of their digital marketing and advertising implementations. He has over ten years of experience in media sales, including being responsible for strategic planning, new market development, setting up and training sales teams in Singapore and Hong Kong. Among his many achievements, he had successfully set up the sales team for Lycos Asia in Hong Kong while securing blue-chip accounts that contributed to substantial increase in Lycos Asia’s revenue. Kenniess is one of the co-founders of Interactive Hub Pte. Ltd. in 2002. From 2002 to 2006, Kenniess was the Vice President of Sales for Interactive Hub. With his extensive media sales experience coupled with his passion and excitement for how online marketing can be leveraged to propel brands, products and services into greater consumer awareness, Kenniess led the growth, training and development of Interactive Hub’s regional and local sales team in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Among his clients, Kenniess is well known for his go-the-extra-mile attitude in servicing the accounts. To many clients, he has earned their trusts as an advisor who is willing to listen and seek out the best possible solutions to implement their online advertising campaigns within budget and timeframe. He is often called upon by his clients to discuss how online advertising can be integrated into their overall marketing campaign and business strategy, whether for a regional project or just a local implementation. His knowledge of the latest developments in the online world and local market knowledge is the cornerstone of his recommendations. Hence, his clients often get the competitive advantage due to his sound advice.

As the Regional Managing Director of Interactive Hub, Kenniess is spearheading the expansion of Interactive Hub into other regional markets in Asia Pacific. With the rapid growth of the online advertising industry, Kenniess is securing more exclusive partnerships with top-tier international, regional and local web portals at an assertive pace in order to offer a more comprehensive range of genre-specific, content-driven web portals to meet the needs of his growing list of clients in various major industries.

For ihub Media, Kenniess leads the sales opportunities for the Group to further expand into more countries within Asia Pacific. He takes the lead in growing the regional and local sales teams in line with ihub Media’s business expansion plan targets. He takes great pride in developing professional sales teams that can provide value-added propositions to his clients’ businesses.

A graduate of Commerce and Management from Lincoln University, New Zealand, Kenniess is an avid sports fan with a great love for football. He loves watching the EPL games, and rooting for his favorite team: Manchester United. He is also a music fanatic, with sheer passion for 80’s retro and British Rock.
